Last Wednesday, March 25th, 2026, Lola James Harper and Cadillac unveiled their exclusive collaboration during a spectacular reveal evening in Cadillac’s flagship, located steps away from the Palais Garnier in Paris.

Spanning two floors and over 1,000 square meters, the flagship was entirely transformed for the occasion. The space was immersed in the deep, luminous Blue Nimbus glow, the signature color of the new limited-edition OPTIQ Studio Edition, with neon lights and projections reshaping the architecture into a cinematic, sensory environment.

Over 500 guests gathered to discover a unique artistic collaboration merging sound, scent, and image.

At the heart of the experience stood the Cadillac OPTIQ studio edition, staged as an immersive installation. Inside the vehicle, guests were invited into a multisensory journey:

• the exclusive Dolby Atmos AKG 17-speaker system diffusing the original Lola James Harper composition

• the bespoke fragrance gently enveloping the interior

• and, unfolding before them, a large-scale film projection of a Lola James Harper family road trip, filmed years ago by Lili, Noé, Céline & Rami Mekdachi, transforming the car into a moving memory.

The collaboration gave birth to a singular creation:

A title shared by both the original song and the exclusive scent, paying tribute to:

Detroit, birthplace of Cadillac,
1902, the year of its founding,
– and OPTIQ, the contemporary expression of the brand’s electric future.

The fragrance, diffused throughout the entire flagship and inside the vehicle, blends dry woods, subtle spices, and bergamot, designed as an olfactive signature for the driving experience.

The evening unfolded as a complete immersion into the Lola James Harper universe with Cadillac:

– a curated playlist resonating across the space
– a monumental display showcasing Lola James Harper iconic collaborations, including Colette, Palais Galliera, The Smashing Pumpkins, Joshua Hong, Vans, and others
– and an intimate screening room where guests discovered, through film and sound, the creative process behind both the original music and the fragrance.

Throughout the night, guests moved freely between experiences, stepping into the car, watching the films, discovering the scents, and celebrating together.

The evening was punctuated by speeches from Rami Mekdachi, founder of Lola James Harper, and Jean-Pierre Diernaz, President of Cadillac Europe, highlighting the shared vision behind the collaboration: a celebration of travel, emotion, craftsmanship, and artistic connection.

More than a launch, the event was a living experience, an invitation to rediscover the essence of the road trip:
