Meet George Esquivel and discover his wonderful and unique atelier in Los Angeles where the magic begins…
A few weeks ago, Rami was back in Los Angeles and stopped by to see our dear friend George Esquivel. Founder of his namesake bespoke brand Esquivel, we visited the Atelier in Downtown LA and the inspiring place of our collaboration scent… The Esquivel House.
His atelier is a welcome luxury experience where his clients are privy to seeing the magic happen behind the making of their custom shoes. With a nod to the haute-couture ateliers in Paris, George designed the space to be an all-white canvas for his vibrant collections.
His specialized atelier produces up to 4,000 pairs of entirely handmade shoes per year — men’s and women’s — destined for select retailers and private clients around the world. Trained in shoemaking, George designs with a hands-on approach, mentoring his team of skilled craftsmen.

In the atelier, George invites clients into the fabrication process — observing artisans hammering soles and stitching with precision — while admiring the bright, white studio with polished concrete floors and vintage sewing machines painted all in white.

To honour our friendship, Rami imagined a collaboration candle for Esquivel: "The Esquivel House" — a scent of amber leather and white musk. You might notice this candle around the studio, among other iconic collaborations such as the one with The Beverly Hills Hotel, a partner we have in common.
