We are beyond proud to share our new collaboration with the legendary Smashing Pumpkins.

Our founder Rami Mekdachi met Billy Corgan a few years ago, and together they dreamed up a way to celebrate the band’s iconic album Siamese Dream.

Out of their conversations came two candles, each capturing the dual worlds that shaped the album in 1993. To bring this vision to life, Rami photographed a dawn-lit desert in California, a purple horizon that became the hero image of The Purple Fuzz world.

Mais Street Studio — dark black wax (a first for Lola James Harper) evoking incense, clove, hairspray, and concrete, inspired by the gritty Chicago rehearsal space where the sound of Siamese Dream was born.

The Purple Fuzz — luminous purple wax with notes of rose, ylang ylang, and sandalwood, inspired by Billy’s imaginary world of fuzz guitars and psychedelic lightness—the dreamscape that balanced Chicago’s raw reality.

Last week, we officially launched this collaboration at FRONT Gallery in Tokyo, just as the Smashing Pumpkins opened their Japan tour. The evening was intimate and electric—music, images, conversations—an encounter between reality and imagination.
